Animal, one of the biggest hits of Rashmika Mandanna¡¯s career, hit the screens on this day (December 1) last year. The action drama, which marked her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor, received mixed reviews with critics lauding the performances but complaining about the ¡®sexist¡¯ narrative. Despite this, the film emerged as a blockbuster and the undisputed choice of the masses. Rashmika has now expressed her gratitude to director Sandeep Vanga for casting her in the film.?
Rashmika pens a note as Animal turns 1
Rashmika Mandanna, who will soon be seen in Pushpa 2, impressed fans with her portrayal of Geethanjali¨C the protagonist¡¯s wife¨C in the 2023 blockbuster Animal. She has now penned a sweet note of gratitude on its first anniversary. In a post on Instagram Stories, she thanked the director for giving her the chance to be part of the film. The Geetha Govindam actress also pointed out that December is a lucky month for her.

In case you did not know, Pushpa too released in December and went on to open new avenues for Rashmika. Moreover, her portrayal of Srivalli was one of the highlights of the Allu Arjun-led film.
