These factors and Upendra's stardom is expected to help it open to a terrific response in Karnataka. However, the opening is likely to be on the lower side in other markets.

Upendra's UI is expected to open to a decent response at the Indian box office. According to Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, the Kannada biggie is likely to collect between Rs 10 crore and Rs 15 crore in India today.?

"It will open big in Karnataka. However, the opening will be quite soft in the other states. The day 1 gross can be between Rs 10 crore and Rs 15 crore.? Its fate in Tamil and Telugu will depend on its quality. So, we will have to wait and watch how it turns out," he told Indiatimes
