Vin Diesel Remembers Paul Walker In Emotional Post, Says There Could Be No Fast X Without Mia

The Fast And Furious franchise is incomplete without Paul Walker aka Brian. The 40-year-old-actor's tragic death in 2013 left a void that can never be filled and an emotional tribute to the actor in Fast And Furious 7 made all of us teary-eyed back in 2015.?

The Fast And Furious franchise will come to an end with two final films. The first film, titled Fast X, is in the works already. Vin Diesel aka Dom Toretto took to Instagram and revealed how he rejected the film's script initially because it excluded Mia (Jordana Brewster).?

The actor shared that he attributes the brotherhood of Dom and Brian to the character of Mia.

It all began when Vin took to Instagram to share a fan's comment on one of his posts. The fan had commented how he would like a classic Fast And Furious feel for the final movies. Sharing the comment as a post, Vin wrote, "Give me a second to reflect…"

Responding to the fan, Vin Diesel then penned a long note saying how his fans' opinions matter and have also been acted upon by the team in the past. Revealing how the Fast X script initially excluded Mia, Vin wrote, "Yes, Your opinion has always mattered. When the F10 script came in, it excluded Mia Toretto…. Someone whom I’ve attributed the brotherhood of Dom and Brian to… I was so disappointed that I couldn’t see how I could continue… After all, I wasn’t going to make another Fast unless Brian was back in Four… I don’t need to remind you of the petitions you sent the studio for Letty’s return at the the end of Five."

He added that it was his daughter who said 'No Mia, No Fast 10'. The actor wrote, "Side note, you will never believe who corrected the very important role of Mia… my daughter, the Alpha Angel, who told the director very plainly and honestly “NO MIA NO FAST 10!” haha. The irony, is that the day she was born I was filming with Jordanna and Pablo and it was Jordanna who I first told… profound right?"

Remembering his dear friend Paul Walker aka Pablo, Vin wrote that there is not a day when he doesn't wish to turn back time and stop him from heading back to LA.?

"There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t want to turn back time, talk Pablo out of heading back to LA that thanksgiving weekend… every Fast film I make must at the core always honor my brother Pablo. In the real world, I will always look after his family, because in the real world he is family. When his daughter asked me to walk her down the isle… I tear up, and then do it with pride and and honor… when his mother asks me to bring Brian back to the screen… well, I don’t have to tell you how serious I take that. "

The actor concluded the post by writing that the fan's comment hit a cord and that 'he won't rest until he makes him (the fan), late Paul Walker, and the universe proud'.

Dom and Brian's brotherhood is something that forms the core of many Fast And Furious films. Vin Diesel is a brother to Paul Walker beyond the cameras as well and is quite close to his family.?
