Who is Rahul Vijay? Fashion stylist rumoured to be dating Malaika Arora after her break-up with Arjun Kapoor

Malaika Arora seems to have found love again months after breaking up with Arjun Kapoor. The diva recently attended AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert with a mystery boy and the internet quickly recalled that he was the same guy Malaika was spotted with last week on a dinner date. This time, Arora even shared selfies with him on his Instagram and it went viral like wildfire.

Who is Rahul Vijay?

The new mystery man in Malaika’s life is Rahul Vijay. He works as a fashion stylist and creative consultant. A fashion design graduate, Rahul started his career at Harper’s Bazaar India in 2011 as a fashion intern and went on to become the brand’s fashion Editor. In 2017, he joined ELLE India as Senior Fashion Editor followed by his stint in GQ India as Senior Fashion Editor. It was in 2021 that Vijay quit publishing to work as an independent fashion editor.

Other than editorial, Rahul is also one of the three Creative Directors for Lakme Fashion Week where he styled leading designers like Rajesh Pratap Singh, AM:PM, Ashish Soni and Kunal Rawal among others. As a Creative Consultant and Stylist, Rahul freelances for design houses, celebrities and brands like India’s finest couturiers like Shahab Durazi and Tarun Tahiliani.

Interestingly, Rahul is followed by Malaika’s ex Arjun Kapoor and has even designed him several times before alongside styling Varun Dhawan, Vedang Raina, and Ahaan Shetty among others. Scrolling through Vijay’s comments, we found Malaika dropping hearts and words like ‘Cutie’ and ‘Handsome’ under his posts.

Both Malaika and Rahul are yet to comment on their rumoured link-up. For the unversed, Arora was previously married to Arbaaz Khan from 1998 to 2017.
