When two men from Denver set out on a journey to clock a record distance of nearly 1,000 km on a single charge in the Tesla Model 3, they were in for a rude shock. After their car died, they plugged it to a charger. But even after 24 hours of non-stop charging, the Tesla still didn¡¯t come alive.

A self-driving car in Arizona tragically killed a woman earlier this year. Investigations, however, found out that the car hadn't missed the woman on the road. It had actually spotted her six seconds before the crash took place. It just didn't swerve as it failed to read her as a ¡®human¡¯.

The car uses a system called MapLite that combines basic GPS data and advanced sensors watching the road.

A high-speed car in Southern California was not being driven parallel to the divider. Because the driver came from a side street and crashed straight into the median, the impact was so high that it sent the car catapulting into the air - straight into a dentist's office on the second floor of a building.

In an incident that took place in San Francisco, an Uber driver took a wrong turn and ended up driving down the stairs that led out of a grocery store's parking lot. He then blamed it all on Uber's navigation system.
