Bollywood actor, director and singer Farhan Akhtar is in Ladakh currently. He revisited the place after Bollywood movies Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Lakshya. He acted in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag portraying the role of Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete, also known as the Flying Sikh. The entire shooting of Farhan Akhtar's training and running was shot in Ladakh.?
That's not his only association, he directed the super successful movie Lakshya, starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta who play the role of an Army officer and journalist respectively. Again, some parts of the war and fighting was shot in the beautiful Ladakh again. He even celebrated 20 years of the movie recently in June.
?And now Farhan is back in the beautiful valley for his third stint. Sharing a scenic image from Ladakh, Farhan wrote, "Back in Ladakh after Lakshya and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to shoot for a very special film. Details to be revealed soon.Watch this space."
The image shows a beautiful road leading up to the mountains and surrounded by barren land.?Ladakh is one of the most sparsely populated regions in India and people often travel to this part of India to enjoy the valleys, mountains and the cold weather.
Many Bollywood and OTT filmmakers prefer domestic destinations to shoot their content. In fact, the last scene of 3 Idiots was also shot in Pangog Lake, which became famous after the movie
While Farhan has kept the movie name a secret, we really hope to see him back again in an action packed film. Or he just maybe directing Don - 3. Who knows?
