If you're looking for motivation, meet 78-year-old Charlotte Wong, who can effortlessly do high-intensity workouts. In a video shared by her daughter, Yan Lin, we can see Charlotte Wong's ability to do pull-ups, pushups and lift weights.?
Speaking with AsiaOne, Yan shared why her mother started exercising at 57 years of age and how she couldn't do one un-assisted pushup and pull-up.
"She almost gave up, thinking she would never be able to do them. It took her four years to do her first pull-up."
Yan also talked about her mother's first un-assisted pull-up and said, "She was waiting for the bus at the gym one day and decided to try a pull-up and surprised herself with one rep,".
As per Yan Lin, Charlotte Wong can now do five standard pull-ups and two with 5kg of added weight,
Yan also shared with AsiaOne that her mother will be representing her country, Singapore, at the Rejuvenation Olympics, a global online longevity game that ranks participants' pace of ageing.

Yan Lin, while speaking with AsiaOne, said- "For people struggling with their fitness journey, I recommend getting a coach to begin with. There is too much misinformation online that is hard to filter through," and "Also, people are generally lazy and lack discipline, so paying for a coach gives you structure and accountability."
