The iconic fashion designer is known for her impeccably embroidered traditional wear collections as well as quirky Indo-Western wear ones. In an exclusive interview with Vogue India to announce the collaboration Anamika Khanna expressed that she aims to break free from the confines of wedding wear that Indian fashion finds itself in. The designer stated, "IĄ¯ve always aimed to push boundaries in Indian fashion and not stick to traditional rules. For instance, IĄ¯ve moved away from conventional norms by pairing sneakers and boots with kurtas."
From the little preview, we can see, that the H&M X Anamika Khanna collection is all about moving away from the wedding market with a diverse range of free-flowing and comfortable garments featuring eclectic prints and some unique jewellery pieces.
