The most effective way to calm your pre-interview nerves is to be well prepared. Going through the details of the company you are applying to, perusing through the job descriptions properly, and preparing for expected questions is the best you can prepare yourself.?

Emily Durham, Senior Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Expert based in Canada, says that when asking a "How do you work under pressure" question, all recruiters want to know is how you prioritise your work.?
"It's literally a trick question," she says.?
Durham says that the best answer to this question is: "The secret to not getting too overwhelmed is understanding how to prioritise and when to ask for help."?
She advises on providing an example of a time when you did that, and how you emotionally regulate yourself - maybe through exercise, stepping away and taking a break, etc.?
To questions that ask your future plans, Durham says that while honesty is the best policy, but you don't want to give an answer that basically says, "I don't want to work here in 5 years".?
The best way to answer this question, if you want to continue in the concerned industry is: "Although I am not entirely sure specifically where I would be in five years, I know I am deeply passionate about - concerned industry - and I love the idea of continuing to grow at a company like - concerned company."?
Or, "Although I am not entirely sure specifically where I would be in five years, I am super passionate about continuing to learn and grow and really see amazing opportunity for me to do this year. Whether I stay in this industry or grow with the company in other capacities, I am excited to continue this journey."?
While these are the common questions asked, but there may be a certain question in an interview which you don't know the answer to. Not knowing the answer is not a deal breaker in an interview, but how you handle the situation can be.?

"That's a great question. If you don't mind, I would like to take a minute to think about it."?
"I am not entirely sure about this, I do however know of something similar that I have worked on." Then, go on to describe that.?
"I am not able to think of it right now, but can I get back to you at the end of the interview?" And then actually do get back on that.?
