The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has invited applications for the post of Grade-A Computer Officer.?
The last date for application is January 28, 2024 while candidates can edit the form till January 30. Interested candidates can apply at uppbpb.gov.in.?This recruitment drive is for a total of 930 vacancies.?
Age limit?
Candidates should be between 18 and 28 years old, as of July 1, 2023.?
Educational qualification?
Candidates must have completed Intermediate (Class 12) exam with Physics and Mathematics.?
Candidates must also have completed O level examination in Computers from the Department of Electronics Accredited in Computer and Communication (DOEACC)?
OR?
must have completed a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering from the Council of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. More details in the advertisement.?
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a Main examination, PET/PMT and physical interview.?
Follow the steps below to apply online for UP police recruitment:
Step 1: Candidates have to fill up the Online Application form provided on uppbpb.gov.in.?
Step 2: Candidates need to click on the direct recruitment link, "Direct recruitment to the posts of Computer Operator Grade-A-2023. Number of posts: 930. Last date of application: (28-01-2024)".?
Step 3: Candidates need to register by providing essential information like name, father¡¯s name, mother¡¯s name, DOB, Gender, marital status, category, state of domicile, Aadhaar no (not mandatory) and communication information like address, mobile no., e-mail ID. It may be noted that the details provided at this stage cannot be modified later on, and hence the candidates are advised to be careful in entering the details.?
Step 4: Upon successful registration, the candidates can activate their account through the OTP sent to their registered mobile number or registered email id.?
Step 5: Once the candidate¡¯s account is activated, he/she can subsequently login with their Registration number and DOB and make the payment. Step 6: Once the payment is successful, candidate is required to upload his/her recent passport sized photograph(35mm x 45mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 20 kb but not more than 50 kb) and a scanned copy of their signature(35mm x 15 mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 5 kb but not more than 20kb).?
