IFS officer Kaswan shared a photo of his personal visiting card that will grow into a plant if buried into soil. The idea in itself has earned a lot of appreciation and as well inspired many to make this initiative a permanent method to be used.?
He shared the image of his card on his official Twitter account.
¡°So, now anybody coming to my office is getting this. This card when planted grows into a bright basil plant,¡± Kaswan wrote on Twitter describing it as ¡°as a parting gift¡±. He efficiently explained that the card wasn't made with the idea of sharing contact details but it was on purpose developed for encouraging people to plant this card.?
Many professionals on the social media platform applauded his idea and said they¡¯d adopt the eco-friendly idea while others also suggested using methods on birthday and wedding cards as well which are often disposed of. Some more ideas were to use the same into pamphlets to price tag cards to ¡°initiate the habit of planting saplings¡±.
At times when our resources are getting depleted at an alarming level, such green initiatives will surely help minimise the environmental damages we all have caused.
