Over the last few days, reports of sexual crimes against children are rising in Uttar Pradesh, with law and order largely remaining in tatters. After a spate of horrific rapes and murders over the last few days, another one has been reported from the chief minister Yogi Adityanath-ruled state.
A teen boy was allegedly raped by four men of his village in the Puwaya area in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place on Saturday evening when the four accused forcibly took the 13-year-old boy to an orchard and allegedly raped him, senior police officer Jasvir Singh said.
The victim subsequently narrated his ordeal to his family members, who approached the police with a complaint against the four accused, identified as Rehman, Ravi, Gulli and Wasim, the officer said.
A case was lodged and a hunt was on to catch the accused who were absconding, he said, adding that the victim was sent for a medical examination.

In another case reported from Gorakhpur, a?seven-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped from outside her residence. The minor was then raped and murdered allegedly by a 48-year-old man late on Friday night. The police have arrested the accused.?
In another case from UP, a 16-year-old girl, who had gone out to relieve herself, was?allegedly raped at gunpoint in Bhabisa village of Shamli district.?The girl was found in an unconscious state at the accused's house, who has been absconding since the incident.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??
