A 14-year-old boy in Mumbai committed suicide by jumping off his terrace. The teen's death has sparked fear amongst people about the infamous 'Blue Whale Challange' that goads young children into committing suicide.?
The deceased has been identified as Manpreet Sahans, a class 9 student who hailed from Sher-e-Punjab in Andheri East. On Saturday, one of the neighbours saw him walking on the edge of the terrace and tried calling him, but Manpreet did not respond. By the time he came down to help or inform his parents, Manpreet had jumped.

Probe into the matter has revealed that Manpreet had been searching for ways to commit suicide for the last two days. His parents and friends also observed?something off about his behaviour but no one saw the suicide coming. He also informed his friends that he won't be coming to the school on Monday?

So far, the game has claimed more than 130 lives in Russia and UK; as per the news, the police suspects that it has reached India as well. The death of the 14-year-old could be India's first case of Blue Whale Challenge, but the police are yet to confirm.?
