The heartwarming union occurred in Syana town, Bulandshahr district, marking a long-awaited milestone for the couple, as per a TOI report.
Arshad, accustomed to comments about his height, often wondered if he would ever find a life partner. Despite facing rejection from over ten women, he held onto hope, believing that destiny would eventually lead him to the right person.
Arshad arrived at the venue in style on the auspicious day of their marriage, standing out of his car's sunroof, adorned in a sherwani, and joyfully greeted his relatives.
"Despite people's comments about my height, I never lost hope of finding the right partner. The wait was well worth it," expressed Arshad, who is engaged in the trade of old furniture.
Reflecting on the hurdles encountered during his search for a suitable match, including a recent setback, Arshad shared, "About four months ago, a relative mentioned a girl of similar stature. Though initially rejected by her family due to my height, our relatives' intervention paved the way for our union."
The families of both Arshad and Sona rejoiced at the match, showering blessings upon the couple. Arshad's friend, Firoz Malik, expressed his delight: "I always wished for him to find his perfect life partner. When I received the wedding invitation, I was thrilled and shared the joy by distributing sweets among our relatives and friends."
