Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, BJP¡¯s candidate from Bhopal, stirred controversy and drew public ire for making insulting remarks against 26/11 hero and Ashok Chakra awardee Hemant Karkare.?
Thakur, prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, on Friday said that former Mumbai Anti-Terrorist Squad chief Hemant Karkare, who died in action during the Mumbai terror attacks, had treated her "very badly".?
She added that Karkare died of his ¡°karma¡±.
"Hemant Karkare falsely implicated me [in Malegaon blasts] and treated me very badly. I told him your entire dynasty will be erased. He died of his karma," Sadhvi Pragya said.
The IPS association has stongly reacted and condemned the remarks made by BJP's Bhopal candidate.

Karkare was probing the Malegaon blasts tracked down the motorcycle used in the attack. The motorcycle belonged to Sadhvi Pragya Thakur.
Addressing a press conference in Bhopal, Thakur said: "The Congress has linked Hindus with terrorism, called them terrorists and harassed a woman. The names that I was given and the way I was tortured... How do I believe this won't be repeated with other women in the future?"
The insulting remark did not go down well with netizens who blasted BJP¡¯s candidate over her insensitive remarks for Karkare who died saving lives in 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
