It is at this point the youth gets angry and snatches the service revolver from Inspector and supposedly shot him.
This is significant as the investigators believe that both Sumit and officer were shot with the same weapon.
The video contradicts the other videos which were being examined, including the ones which led to the arrest of an army soldier named Jeetendra Malik aka Jeetu Fauji.
Two days after his arrest from Jammu for his alleged involvement in the killing, the Uttar Pradesh Police today said it did not have enough proof against him.
IANS reported that the cops said they did not have conclusive proof so far against to prove he had a hand in the killing of Inspector Singh.

The cops, however, said that there is proof that Jeetu was at the scene of the crime.
Meanwhile, Jeetu has reportedly maintained his innocence saying he was not involved in the murder of the police officer or for that matter in the mob violence.
He,?however, admitted to the STF that he has passed through the scene of the violence, but insisted he was not a party to the violence.
