In the comments, people chimed in with their insights into cab drivers' earnings in India.?
One commenter said, "This is pretty reasonable and believable. I have a close friend's brother who works as OLA driver. He usually just focuses on airport or railway station pick ups. Works a bit odd hours. But comfortably brings home around 80k after expenses (fuel, EMI, maintenance and insurance)."

However, not everyone saw the earnings as substantial, with one commenter comparing it to entry-level salaries in corporate jobs and noting the physical toll of cab driving that often goes unnoticed.
