However, the Internet doesn¡¯t seem to be loving it as much, with some expressing concerns.?
One individual referred to it as a 'Deadly' Idli, while others criticised the excessive amount of grated cheese on top.?
A comment remarked, "Only thing I can¡¯t see is cheese: grated cheese, liquid cheese, sauce etc. have everyday one month and put on the weight of 10 kg,¡± while another added, "What beats me: What's this obsession with cheese and mayonnaise with these street food vendors? And dollops of it! Sick.
Another said, Seriously, RIP Idly.. for movement I thought it would end up as Uttapam, then Pizza.
Yet another simply said, "This is unacceptable. The good old healthy Idly is being tainted in the name of experimentation. Those who want to experiment, please have burger or Subs. Don¡¯t do this to an idly."
Although idlis are beloved in Indian cuisine, a recent report shed light on their environmental impact. According to the study, which evaluated the biodiversity footprint of 151 popular dishes worldwide, idli ranked sixth among those causing damage to biodiversity.
