A youth from Kerala who is said to have joined the Islamic State in Afghanistan has allegedly created a WhatsApp group to recruit more youths from the state to join the movement of what they call Jihad.
The existence of the group called 'Message to Kerala' was revealed by a youth from Kasargod district in north Kerala - bordering Karnataka - after he was added to the chat, allegedly by those already in Afghanistan.

It is said to have more than 200 members and the Admin is said to be a man identified as Abu Musa and who uses an Afghan number. ?Haris Mastan,?who got the message, says he received audio messages after he inquired about those who went missing from Kerala.
One of the audio clips, where the respondent is identified as Rashid Abdulla, one of the missing youths.
In the audio clip, he said that contrary to media reports they are doing well and are happily living under the Islamic law, unlike in Kerala were they had to live along with "kafirs" (unbelievers).
He also said their aim for travelling to Afghanistan was Jihad, and to die for Allah. "Two among us were lucky to become "shaheed" for Allah. Others too are waiting for martyrdom," he said.
He also clarified that the two people who have lost their lives were not killed by the US's 'Mother of all bombs' and that it did not result in any deaths of local or foreign jihadists.
The speaker goes on to claim that the National Investigation Agency has no clear information on them and that they are spreading false news.?
¡°The NIA and other agencies would release many news without any source. Those who hear such news should realise that the NIA have no source. People are releasing news without any reliability and the NIA has no source to get news. I don't know how they got the news about the death of Rashid Abdullah. Because I myself am Rashid Abdulla.¡¯¡¯
Abdulla, answering another 'question' said the conspiracy theory that ISIS is a Jewish-American conspiracy to make Muslims fight against each other was absurd.

He also referred to Peace School in Kochi which was last year in the news for its controversial syllabus.
He said Peace School founder MM Akbar wanted to make more Muslim IAS and IPS officers so that one day they can become a majority in administration and implement Sharia law in the country.
The audio was leaked after Haris Mastan informed about the group to the police. The NIA has launched a probe into the development.
