40-year-old Suresh Visanji Patel has been taken into custody after he along with another man reportedly asked for home address of industrialist Mukesh Ambani from a cab driver on Monday.
The Mumbai Police have said that the men are tourists who just wanted to visit the area near Ambani's residence, which is a city landmark. As per cops, the tourists?were picked up from Navi Mumbai and were simply inquisitive.?Police further said that they have done a thorough interrogation to rule out any possible threat.
Panic struck when a taxi driver informed Mumbai police that two suspected passengers carrying large bags with them had asked him the location of Ambani¡¯s south Mumbai home.?The driver also told the police that the men spoke to him outside Killa Court near Azad Maidan, sources said.
This triggered a security scareand machinery was put in overdrive to heighten deployment?outside Ambani's Antilia.
The cops began looking for the ¡®silver car¡¯ the duo in question were travelling in.?Barricades were put by police outside ¡®Antilia¡¯ on Monday, the 27-storey building located on Altamout Road, and CCTV footages were also scanned.

This morning police confirmed the taxi driver in question (he hails from Gujarat) and the vehicle (a Wagon R tourist taxi) had also been identified.
Yesterday's security scare came months after an explosives-laden SUV (a Mahindra Scorpio) was found metres from the building. The car was carrying 20 sticks of gelatin and a letter - the contents of which haven't been released - addressed to Ambani and his wife, Nita Ambani.
Police have, so far, uncovered a conspiracy with alleged links to Sachin Waze, a senior cop who has since been sacked and arrested for links to the murder of the car owner, Mansukh Hiren.?The National Investigation Agency, which has taken over the probe, also found Waze had procured the explosives and parked the SUV near Ambani's house, reports said.
The chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani and his family live in one of the world's most luxurious homes - a 27-storey, 400,000 sq feet building in south Mumbai's posh Cumballa Hill area.
