Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be conferred the highest national honours by Guyana and Barbados. While Guyana will present 'The Order of Excellence' to the Indian PM, Barbados will honour him with the esteemed 'Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados'.??
Earlier, Nigeria had awarded the Prime Minister its top distinction, the 'Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger' (GCON). Recently, Dominica announced that it will confer PM Modi with its top award, the 'Dominica Award of Honour'.??
With this, the number of civilian honours received by PM Modi has reached a record 19.??

PM Modi who arrived in Guyana on Wednesday, for the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in more than 50 years was handed over the ¡®Key to the City of Georgetown' as a testament to the close India-Guyana ties.
The Indian PM was received at the airport by Guyana President Irfan Ali, his counterpart Mark Anthony Phillips and over a dozen cabinet ministers while at the hotel, they were joined by the Prime Ministers of Grenada Dickon Mitchell and?Barbados?Mia Amor Mottley too.
