A representative idol of Lord Ramlalla toured the premises of Ayodhya Ram Mandir on Wednesday, marking the second day of the week-long pre-Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya.
"On Wednesday, January 17, after 1:20 pm, there will be Jalayatra, Teertha Puja, Brahmin-Batuk-Kumari-Suvasini Puja, Vardhini Puja, Kalshayatra and tour of the idol of Lord Shri Ramlala in the Prasad premises," Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra said in a post on 'X' quoting the statement of Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid.?
The pre-Pran Pratishtha ceremony began on January 16 and will end on January 21. The pran-prathistha ceremony will take place on January 22.
On Tuesday, Panchgavyaprashan was performed at the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple using Panchgavya (milk, urine, dung, ghee, and curd) after worshipping Vishnu.
As part of the Pratishtha Mahotsav on January 16, Anil Mishra performed a purification ritual. He atoned with all his essential belongings, took a bath in the Saryu river, and offered Panchgavya and ghee after worshipping Vishnu.
Additionally, a Karmakuti Homa was conducted at the idol-making place, and recitations of Valmiki's Ramayana and Bhusundiramayana took place at the pavilion.
Preparations are currently being made for a major event set to take place on January 22. The event is expected to draw thousands of attendees, including the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, holds significant spiritual, historical, and cultural importance for the people of India.
Significant security measures have been implemented to prepare for the much-awaited inauguration ceremony of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.
Around 10,000 CCTV cameras have been placed strategically across the holy city to monitor activities.?
Furthermore, 100 snipers will be deployed to reinforce security, forming a part of a comprehensive 7-layered security structure that the Central and Uttar Pradesh government security agencies have jointly prepared.
On January 22, Prime Minister Modi's security will be ensured by a team of highly trained SPG commandos equipped with the latest weapons.?Apart from this, there will be over 1000 constables and four companies of PACs deployed within his security circle.?
They will be assisted by three DIGs, 17 SPs, 40 ASPs, 82 DSPs, and 90 inspectors. Over 10,000 CCTV cameras have been strategically installed, including those in front of shops and houses linked to the police control room.
