A shocking video of a road rage incident in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has surfaced on social media.
In the video, said to be from the Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad, a car can be seen speeding on the road while dragging a bike trapped under it.
In the video shot by a man on another bike, sparks can be seen flying as the speeding car dragged the bike through the road.
According to reports, the speeding car hit the bike with two occupants and dragged it down the road after it got stuck on the front bumper.
What is even more shocking is that the driver refused to slow down even when people confronted him.
In the video, at least two bikers can be seen chasing the car driver and asking him to stop.
They briefly managed to slow him down, but when they tried to get him off the car and remove its key, he sped away again.
However, the bikers refused to give up, and more people joined them.
After a long chase, the group eventually managed to stop the car driver while dragging the bike along the road.
After the incident video went viral, the driver was arrested by the police.
"The car driver has been arrested and the vehicle has been seized. The bike owner is safe," Swatantra Kumar Singh, DSP, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, said.
This comes days after a man was killed in a road rage incident in the Loni Road area of Ghaziabad.
Varun Singh alias Arun, a resident of Jawli in Loni, was killed by one Chiranjeevi Sharma, who hit him repeatedly with a brick after an argument broke out over parking their cars.
Singh and his two friends were at a Dhaba, and as they came out, they found a Celerio blocking their Santro.
A friend of Sharma, who was also having food at the Dhaba, agreed to move the car, but while doing so, it hit Singh's car.
This led to an argument, and Sharma first hit Singh, who then pushed him down to the ground.
Enraged by this, Sharma hit Singh repeatedly with a brick, smashing his head and killing him on the spot.
Sharma and his associates fled the scene immediately, and he was caught by the police two days later.
