A video has gone viral on social media showing the CEO of Bengaluru-based startup Stack Wealth abusing an employee when she was confronted about her full and final settlement (FnF) being withheld. In a video posted by Vishnu Prasad, a former Stack Wealth employee, CEO Smriti Tomar can be seen arguing with a group of workers who appeared to have been recently terminated by the company.
In the video, Tomar is heard telling the employees that they were terminated based on their performance. When a female employee tried to seek some clarification, Tomar rudely interrupted her, claiming she was not obliged to explain everything.
"Any person who is not showing one sale a day, aren't they stupid," the CEO is heard telling the employee.
When the employee objected to the CEO calling her stupid, Tomar doubled down and said, "If you were not stupid, you would not have been terminated."
When another employee tried to ask a question, Tomar once again shot it down by saying, "There is nothing to discuss."
In the video, Tomar is also seen telling employees that they wonĄŻt be receiving their FnF since they havenĄŻt done enough sales.
Tomar, who claimed that there was no agreement stating that the employees would get their FnF, changed her stand to "Doesn't matter, I will change the decision," when one of the employees read out from an email that said the employees would get their FnF 45 days from the day of their resignation.
Prasad, who posted the video on LinkedIn, said he was terminated from his job on January 4th without notice, a day before he was to receive his December salary.
The video was posted a week ago, and until now, Stack Wealth or its CEO has not issued any clarification on the allegations. However, on LinkedIn, Stack Wealth has reposted a couple of posts by its employees, who described how wonderful a workplace it is.
