A school teacher was recently suspended for getting head and body massage from students. When students in other schools would be receiving blessing from their teachers on the special day, teachers in Jamgaon high school were planning for a party with money collected from students as 'chanda'.
After the school was over on September 5, the students were asked to collect money and get chicken from market. Moreover, some amount of money was also arranged by charging Rs 150 from more than 50 girls students in exchange of bi-cycles provided to them under government's Saraswati Cycle Scheme, parents alleged.
Boys were then asked to cook chicken and other eatables at the kitchen of their hostel that's located on the same premises of school. The boys served food and also picked utensils. It wasn't clear if the teachers consumed alcohol in front of students at school premises or outside.

Talking to TOI, district education officer TR Sahu said that the matter has come to his knowledge and that he has ordered an inquiry in the complaint made by parents.
"Team of officials led by block education officer has gone to the school for investigation and the report is awaited. I will get the details by late evening and based on the report, action would be taken if the allegations are found to be true," Sahu said.
However, parents were quoted as saying that last month a teacher habitual of coming in inebriated condition to school, molested a school girl following which few villagers protested against him.
But later, it is said that the villagers were given hefty amount to shut their mouth. Sahu said that he was oblivious to the case and would find out the reality.
