Last month, the army had warned stone pelters against helping terrorists flee from the security forces. This came after incidents of stone-pelting during security operations increased in the recent times.
The army was forced to warn the stone pelters as the terrorists began using them as a cover to target the army, knowing that they won't retaliate fearing civilian casualties.
