A father-son duo from the US was arrested in New Delhi after they were caught flying a drone near the Rashtrapati Bhawan in the national capital.
According to ANI, the duo was arrested on September 14 and some photographs of the high-security Central Secretariat area captured through the video camera fitted in the drone have been recovered.

The report added that Police are questioning the duo and further investigation is on.
According to the 'Drone Regulations 1.0' by the Director General of Civil Aviation's (DGCA) which came into effect on December 1, 2018, Strategic locations, vital military installations, areas around airports, near the international border, Vijay Chowk in Delhi, State Secretariat Complex in state capitals, are no-drone zones.?
The development comes at a time when parts of the country are on a high alert over possible terror attacks from across the border.
Ports in Gujarat coast and some cities in South India were recently put on alert after intelligence warning about suspicious movements there.
The DGCA had come up with the drone regulations to monitor the use of drones in the country.?

Under this users are required to make one-time registration of their drones, pilots, and owners on the platform, which will also allow for the online filing of a drone's specific flight path and use.
The DGCA has defined five different categories of drones as Nano, Micro, Small, Medium and Large.?
Under the new policy, Nano drones which are less than or equal to 250 grams doesn't need a registration or license.?
