Sportswear giant Adidas has unveiled the much-awaited jersey of Team India for the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled for next month. Adidas on Monday introduced Team India's new jersey?in a creative way. In a video posted on social media Team India's Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav are seen Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala.
The video then shows a helicopter flying over them, with a giant replica of the new jersey hanging from it.
"One jersey. One Nation. Presenting the new Team India T20 jersey," Adidas wrote on social media.?
The new jersey of Team India for the T20 World Cup is a mix of blue and orange colors. The shirt's shoulders are orange with the rest of it being blue. Two orange lines extend towards the waist in a parallel manner. The new Indian T20I jersey features Adidas' three white stripes. A?tri-coloured?stripe is also present around the shirt collar.
Last month the BCCI?had?announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Rohit Sharma (Captain), Hardik Pandya (Vice Captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (WK), Sanju Samson (WK), Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Siraj.
Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed?and?Avesh Khan have been named as reserves.

The T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by the US and Caribbean from 1 to 29 June 2024. It will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United?States,?and in any other country in the Americas outside the West Indies.

India is placed in 'Group A' along with arch-rivals Pakistan, alongside Ireland, Canada and the USA?
India will play its first game against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, followed by Pakistan on June 9 in what is one of the most anticipated matches of the T20 World Cup.
