The event was a major success, raising a total of INR 1.93 crores. Virat Kohli's contribution didn¡¯t end with his jersey; his gloves were also a major highlight, fetching INR 28 lakhs. Rohit Sharma¡¯s bat was another star attraction, selling for INR 24 lakhs.The auction also featured a historic bat from MS Dhoni, the former captain of India and Chennai Super Kings, which sold for INR 13 lakhs. Rahul Dravid¡¯s bat was also a sought-after item, bringing in INR 11 lakhs. KL Rahul¡¯s own jersey was sold for INR 11 lakhs as well.
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty shared that the cause was particularly meaningful to them, as it supports the upliftment of differently-abled children. They spoke about the personal significance of the Vipla Foundation, which was founded by Rahul¡¯s grandmother.
