Devendra Vishnoi, the national president of Akhil Bharatiya Bishnoi Mahasabha spoke to IANS on October 17 and extended their support for Lawrence. He said, ¡°Killing Blackbuck is a legal crime. Our Bishnoi community does not allow it. Salman Khan is definitely guilty of the Bishnoi community.¡±
¡°Our community has been bearing this pain for the last 24 years and in such a situation Salman Khan should apologise to Bishnoi society. If apologising brings peace and relief then it is good work. Salman Khan should definitely apologise,¡± added Vishnoi.

The court is dealing with the issue. We will abide by its decision. Lawrence Bishnoi is a gangster. The Bishnoi community has no connection with Lawrence. The criminal is merely using his Bishnoi identity as a ruse.¡±
