The doctor couple had moved the HC challenging the life sentence awarded to them by the special CBI court in Ghaziabad.
14-year-old Aarushi, the only child of the Talwars was found dead in their home in Noida in May 2008 with her throat slit with surgical precision.
The Talwars who have been in locked up in a Ghaziabad jail, heard the verdict on TV.

The verdict comes four years after Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were convicted for the killing their daughter and domestic help Hemraj.
It was initially suspected that Hemraj had killed Aarushi. However, the case took a shocking turn after the domestic help's body was recovered two days later from the terrace of the same flat.
The police then began to suspect the Talwars and said Aarushi's father Rajesh had murdered the two after finding them in an 'objectionable' position. The accusations enraged the Talwars and friends, who accused the police of framing the dentist couple in order to cover up a botched investigation.

After widespread outrage, the case was transferred from the Uttar Pradesh Police to the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) that exonerated the parents and suspected the Talwars' assistant Krishna along with two domestic servants, Rajkumar Sharma and Vijay Mandal.
The couple were sentenced to life on charges of murder and destruction of evidence by a special CBI court in 2013.??
