After saving all the money starting from the days when he used to work as manson who earns not more than 250-300 rupees a day, he has brought two plots 1200 square feet each which is at Vazhapadi Belur village. He found a local sculpture artist and gave him rupees 1 lakh to get a 5 foot tall statue ready.?
He placed his own statue on the land on Sunday and concrete canopy. Through people and started at the place, the man is now planning a grand unveiling of his statue soon.?
Where there is will, there is a way and this ragpicker who wanted to fulfill his dream is testament to it. A similar incident which recently surfaced on social media highlights the grit and determination of individuals who never say never.
A video posted by Indian Forest Services (IFS) officer Madhu Mitha, shows an amputee farming walking in the field with a shovel in one hand and a crutch in the other.?
While balancing himself on the crutch, the farmer begins working with a?tool, and then takes a step ahead with the help of the shovel and the crutch to continue with his work.?The motivating video soon went viral and people saluted him for inspiring them to work hard and realise their dreams.
