He is been discharged from the hospital where he was being treated for the injuries suffered by him on Wednesday night during an exhibition wrestling event. Khali, whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana, suffered concussion and head injuries which the doctors later deemed as not serious.

"It will be blood for blood and chair for chair," said Khali after being discharged from the hospital. Once Khali gained the upperhand in the bout, two other international wrestlers jumped into the ring and attacked Khali with chairs, slamming them on his head and midriff. This prompted the audience to throw empty bottles, pebbles and other articles at wrestlers as shown in the above video. Interestingly, the fight spectacle was launched by Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat and attended by other high-profile politicians from the state.?

The 7'2" tall giant was airlifted from Haldwani to Dehradun where he was admitted in the Max hospital. According to a senior neurosurgeon Khali suffered concussion and laceration along with getting 6 to 7 stitches on his head. The medical team had to arrange for two beds in order to cater to his size in the intensive care unit.
