Considered one of the toughest female wrestlers in the 50kg weight category, Hildebrandt has two gold medals at the World Championships, one silver, and one bronze in the 53kg weight class.
Hildebrandt has had a great Olympic tournament so far, starting with a quick 10-0 win over Doudou from Algeria. Her only major challenge was in the round of 16, where she defeated China's Ziqi Feng 7-4. In the semi-finals, Hildebrandt steamrolled her Mongolian opponent, Otgonjargal Dolgorjav, 5-0 to enter the final.
In the final, Hildebrandt will face off against Phogat, who entered the Olympics unseeded but made her intentions clear by defeating 4-time world and Olympic champion Yui Susaki in the first round.?
