Bezos, who owns about 18% stake in Amazon surpassed the chairman and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet, to take the third spot in the list that is still being dominated by Bill Gates at the numero uno spot with a net wealth of (take your tissues out for this) $77.7 billion. However, it is to be noted that back in July, Buffet had donated $2.86 billion of his Berkshire stock to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and four other family charities which brought his net worth marginally down to the fourth position.?
