The California fire continues to rage in the hills and it isn¡¯t dying anytime soon. United States President, Donald Trump said on Monday that he had approved a request to delare the California fire as a major disaster, making people affected eligible for various types of federal government support.
42 people have been gutted by the camp fire which has been now declared the deadliest in the state. Reuters reported on Monday that 200 people were also missing in the fire.
However, pets and animals are bearing the brunt of the fire as human beings have abandoned their pets to flee the disaster. Daily mail shared heart breaking pictures of burnt animals, some of whom even survived the ravaging fires.

A cat who was found with serious injuries in a wildfire ravaged street in Paradise, northern California has died, animal activists informed Daily mail. The cat which was given the name Billiegirl was widely shared on social media for having sustained grave burn injuries. Unfortunately, she didn¡¯t survive.

While many pets didn¡¯t survive, others were even reunited with their owners as they shared pictures of them on social media. A rabbit also suffered critical burns during the Woolsey fire. The wildfire which is currently raging near Malibu forced residents to find shelter elsewhere without giving them sufficient time to save their pets.

The most deadliest fire on record has gutted close to 7,100 homes and continues to rage. Dogs suffered burns on their legs, paws, around their eyes as residents underestimated the outcome of the fire. Goose, giraffes, horses, even donkeys were also caught in this disaster as they waited for animal veterans and welfare organisations to rescue them.

Northern California is home to exotic animals ranging from several types of deer, black bears, bobcats, elks and cougars, and the Butte County area where Camp Fire burns hosts several wildlife sanctuaries. Coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, skunks and foxes, as well as a number of birds and snakes, were other creatures that are found in the valley.

An animal clinic has been set up in the Butte County Fairgrounds which is 30 miles south of Paradise where emergency service veterinarians tended to dogs with burnt paws and fur. Large animals were taken to the Butte County Fair as orders were given to evacuate nearby areas. Goats and horses have also found a temporary shelter at the grounds.

Malibu Wines, a wine estate was slammed by international celebrities for abandoning its animals in the fire. A giraffe named Stanley was left to his fate by the estate. Saddlerock Ranch who owns Malibu wines said last week that they were evacuating the animals though, this claim has been disputed by the activists when actress Whitney Cummings visited the site on Saturday and found Stanley in his pen.
