The president was standing outside the presidency building along with with his prime minister, chief of staff and other senior aides. Amid a strong mounting pressure from Russia, Zelensky wants to convince his compatriot that he is there. to fight for them.?
Russian troops clashed briefly with Ukrainian forces for the first time within Kyiv itself on Friday, AFP reported.
It is expected that the Russian forces will make further advance in the city in the coming days. Meanwhile Russia has offered to hold talks with Ukraine to find a resolution to the current crisis as the European countries and US are calculating the diplomatic measures they can take against Russia.?
