In the clip, a?hippopotamus stands at the edge of an enclosure with its mouth wide open, seemingly ready to be fed a carrot by a person in a nearby car. However, another passenger suddenly throws a plastic bag into the hippo's mouth, causing the animal to start chewing on it.
This shocking incident took place at Taman Safari in Bogor, West Java. The caption accompanying the video reads, "A safari park visitor threw a plastic bag into the mouth of a Hippopotamus at the Taman Safari in Indonesia."
Reports also suggest that the same person poked a deer with a carrot during the safari.?
The park¡¯s spokesman, Alexander Zulkarnain, told the Jakarta Globe, "We have identified the vehicle's license plate and urge the individual to make a public apology. This should serve as a lesson to other visitors about following the rules at the Indonesian Safari Park."
