Woman Who Died After Being Struck By Lightning And Came Back To Life Says It Gave Her 'Prophetic Dreams'
Lightning is still one of the most terrifying natural phenomena we can experience. The intense flash of lightning, followed by the sound of thunder, can shake anyone to the core. While lightning is undoubtedly?extremely powerful, does it have superpowers? Elizabeth Krohn, an American woman, believes so.
Died of lightning strike in 1988
According to her, that is the only reason she started having prophetic dreams and seeing things that happened in the future. In 1988, the then 28-year-old Krohn was on her way to the synagogue with her children when a thunderstorm broke out.?
To keep herself dry, she reached for her umbrella, and as her wedding ring finger was touching the shaft, she was struck by lightning. According to Krohn, she had a bizarre experience immediately after she was struck by the lightning.
Saw my body from above
¡°I thought, 'Where's my umbrella?' So I looked out the window. Sure enough, there was my umbrella in the parking lot," she recalled. ¡°I looked to the right, about 20 feet from the umbrella, and I saw myself on the ground,¡± she added.

Krohn said that was when she realized she was dead and was looking at her lifeless body from above. According to her, soon after, a floating orb of light led her away from the scene and into a garden paradise.
Two weeks in paradise
¡°It's not a garden like anything here on Earth. The plants were different. The flowers were blossoming, just exploding with color ¨C it's so frustrating because the words just don't exist here,¡± she said.
There, she met her long-deceased grandfather, who gave her two options: stay there or go back to Earth. When Krohn told her grandfather that she wanted to go back to Earth, he warned her that she would have another child but also that her marriage would end in divorce. He further revealed to her which team would win the Super Bowl and that George H. Bush?was going to?win the US presidential election.

Started seeing future events
According to her, she spent about two weeks there, which passed like two minutes of time on Earth. By the time she 'returned' to Earth, people from the synagogue had rushed?to her aid. Krohn spent the next few months recovering from her injuries, sleeping a lot ¡ª and having very peculiar dreams.
¡°I would have a nightmare about a plane crash, and then I would see it on the news the next day. Information about earthquakes, tsunamis,?and other disasters would come to me. And then they would happen,¡± Krohn said.
