A woman who had been working 14 hours, juggling two jobs a day, to put food on her family's table has hit the jackpot by winning a whopping ?200,000 (Rs 2.13 crore). And all it cost her was just ?1 (Rs 106). The woman, Araya Curry, used to work as a hospice cleaner by day and a restaurant waitress by night, earning the minimum wage to raise her two sons.
This is now set to become a thing of the past as the 40-year-old is set to start a new luxury life in Thailand. Curry, a resident of Bury St Edmunds in the UK¡¯s Suffolk, won it big at Betfred¡¯s numbers game Nifty 50. For a bet of ?1 (Rs 106), she walked away with a prize money of ?200,000 (Rs 2.13 crore).

Nifty 50 is a betting game that allows players to choose six numbers between one and fifty for a bet of ?1.
"I have been working 14-hour days for a long time, so this fantastic win has totally transformed the lives not just for me and Andy but for our children too," Curry told The Daily Star.

Curry, who is originally from Thailand and moved to England after marrying Andy, a former fireman, some 20 years ago, plans to relocate to her home country with their children.
"We had a 10-year plan to acquire land in Thailand and go and live there. Now it¡¯s all been brought forward, and work has already started on our six-bedroom villa over there,¡± she said.
The couple has also invited Fred Done, the owner of Betfred, to their new home when it is completed.
"There has never been a more deserving winner in our 57-year history than Araya, who, along with her husband, works so hard and deserves all the luck in the world,¡± Fred said.
