Fans are still divided over the situation involving WWE commentator Corey Graves and NXT. Many believe that Graves is genuinely frustrated with WWE over the management's decision to move him from the Raw announcement table to NXT last week, while others are of the view that his social media posts and absence from the show this week are part of some angle.
Meanwhile, on the latest episode of Speed, WWE¡¯s social media show, Graves, who had been the announcer since its inception last April, was replaced by Blake Howard.
Graves added another layer of mystery to the entire fiasco by deleting his social media posts in which he had expressed his frustration over being moved to NXT.
In his first post, Graves spoke about how his dream of being a professional wrestler was shattered and how he had to adjust his dream, referring to the concussions that forced him to retire from in-ring performance and take up commentary.
"And then, when it¡¯s time to enjoy the fruits of your labour, being told you¡¯re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you¡¯ve wondered where I¡¯ve been,¡± Graves said, implying that he was not happy with the move to NXT.
He had also posted on X, urging fans to tune into NXT as he had a lot to say, but ended up skipping the episode altogether.
While reports from Fightful Select, PWInsider, and F4WOnline noted that Graves¡¯ comments on X were legitimate and that he was frustrated, a source told Fightful Select that Graves could still return to RAW or SmackDown by the spring.
