The 13th edition of the IPL is all set to begin on March 29. The auctions were done and dusted on December 19 and now fans are waiting in anticipation for the tournament to begin.

While we are all waiting for the big guns to set the stage on fire, there are a few fresh faces who will be playing their first tournament. So who are these guys and what can be expect from them? Let's find out:?

1. Tom Banton?

?KKR bagged him for Rs 1 crore and he is considered one of the hardest hitters today. In the T20 blast in England, he was the highest run-getter with 549 runs from 13 matches at a strike-rate of over 160.?

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal?

?RR spent Rs 2.4 crore and he is worth it. The teenager can up the scoring tempo almost at will which makes him deadly with the willow.?

3. Devdutt Padikkal?

?Taken in by RCB at base price of Rs 20 lakh, he made waves when he smashed 122 off 60 balls in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. With 580 runs in 12 games, he topped the run charts in the tournament and hit 33 sixes, also the highest in the competition.?

4. Alex Carey?

?DC took him for Rs 2.4 crore and he is brilliant both with bat and gloves. One of the best finishers and hitters in the world today, no game is over until he is back in the pavilion.?

5. Priyam Garg?

?KXIP spent Rs 1.9 crore for him and the U-19 skipper's T20 strike rate of 132 is just what the tournament needs.?

6. Virat Singh?

?SRH bought him for Rs 1.9 crore and the man is lethal in this format. In domestic T20s he has scored over 1500 runs, striking at 124 with a top score of 81.?

7. Chris Green?

?Handy with both bat and ball, he was picked up by KKR for his base price of Rs 20 lakh and is the ideal player in sticky situations.?

8. Kamlesh Nagarkoti?

?Roped in by KKR for Rs 3.2 crore, he is known to hit the deck hard and can make the ball do things regardless of the response of the pitch.?

9. Darshan Nalkande?

?With 16 wickets in just 6 games at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, KXIP see him assisting the likes of Mohammed Shami as a seamer.?

10. R Sai Kishore?

?Consistent as a bowler in domestic cricket, he was bought by CSK at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. Half of his games shall be in home conditions which is an added bonus.?

11. Sheldon Cottrell?
