The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to begin on March 22, 2025, and will feature a total of 74 matches played across multiple venues in India. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the tournament will see ten franchises competing for the championship. While till the last edition, the tournament was free to watch but this time, it might come with a price to pay.
Television audiences can tune into Star Sports network and Sports 18 to stream the tournament live. Digital consumers can watch it on the newly launched OTT platform JioHotstar. The league consists of ten teams:-
Each team will play 14 league matches in a double round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The playoff stage includes Qualifier 1, the Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final.
