Jasprit Bumrah has made quite a name for himself since making his India bow in 2016. While Virat Kohli has rightly taken the plaudits for batting, Bumrah has been a revelation in the bowling department.
For past few years now, the 26 year-old pacer has led team India's bowling arsenal with great distinction. Across the three formats - T20Is, ODIs, and Tests - Bumrah has shown tremendous application and become one of the best bowlers in the era.

When?Bumrah?returned vs Australia he had a mixed series and then was on the plane to New Zealand. After a shaky start he seemed to be getting back into his groove in the T20Is and looked to be at his best once again.? ?
But then in the ODI series,?Bumrah?was all over the place. The bowler who could keep things tied down and take wickets was being treated with disdain. He looked lost for ideas and coudn't impact the game as he usually does.?
A lot of question have been asked of him. Given that he is usual consistent and doesn't make it easy for batsmen to get runs of him, he has faced a lot of flak for his recent performances.
But it could all change starting tomorrow. India take on New Zealand in the Test series and Bumrah will look at it as the new beginning. Being someone who is not outspoken, the Gujarat pacer will look to answer his critic with his performance on the field.?
With the red ball in hand, Jasprit Bumrah will look to get back to his usual self - hit the ball in right areas, swing it at pace and get the batsmen knocking down on their knees.?
If India are to win the series, Bumrah will have to perform. India are the top-ranked Test side in the world, a testament to how good the side has been in all departments, but bowling has been a bigger positive in that run.
