John Cena, one of the biggest names in wrestling history, is all set to say goodbye to the ring in a few months. Cena will kickstart his retirement tour in 2025, and one of his stopovers has been confirmed to be WrestleMania 41.
With WrestleMania 41 being Cena's last WrestleMania, there is much anticipation and speculation about who will be his opponent. Several names, including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Gunther, and even The Rock, have been rumoured to be Cena's last WrestleMania opponent.
But one name that is unlikely to be considered for the high-profile match is Logan Paul.
According to WrestleVotes, the former United States Champion was recently considered as Cena's WrestleMania opponent, but the plan has been scrapped due to dissatisfaction within WWE's creative team.
"Sources indicate recent rumours of Logan Paul vs. John Cena at WrestleMania have, at the very least, been discussed. However, the idea has been met with resounding disapproval from several within creative. The general feeling is that this shouldn't be Cena's final WrestleMania match," WrestleVotes reported.
Cena, who made his WWE debut in 2002, will retire from the ring after a 22-year-long career that saw him win an impressive 16 world championships.?
Cena is currently tied with Ric Flair in terms of most world championship wins, and many believe that 'the face that runs the place' may still have one more championship run in his last year as a full-time wrestler.
