World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Famer Rikishi has expressed confidence that his son Solo Sikoa is ready for his first major title win with the company. Speaking on a recent episode of his ¡°Off the Top¡± podcast, Rikishi said Sikoa is ¡°already a made man¡± and a main eventer.
¡°Solo¡¯s already a made man ¡ª Solo¡¯s already a main event player. If they decide or want to go with belts, putting it on Solo, it¡¯s only just going to increase revenue. Because you put it on the most hated guy in the business right now, people can¡¯t wait to see who¡¯s gonna take it off him,¡± he said.
Rikishi is a member of the Anoa?i family of Samoan wrestlers and has wrestled for WWE, WCW, and TNA. Several members of his family, including his brothers Sam Fatu and Umaga, have also been professional wrestlers. He is also the uncle of Jacob Fatu and the cousin of Rosey and Roman Reigns.
Currently, three of his sons, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso, are members of the WWE roster.
The 31-year-old Solo Sikoa, who made his WWE debut in 2021 on NXT, became the 'Enforcer' of The Bloodline in 2022. He is currently the ¡°Tribal Chief¡± of The Bloodline.
At WWE Crown Jewel, The Bloodline, including Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, are set to face the 'original Bloodline', comprising a reunited Roman Reigns and The Usos.
However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sikoa may not be part of the match as WWE "has been doing everything possible to protect Sikoa."
"Sikoa has not wrestled since a 10/18 street fight with Rhodes in Columbia, SC, and was kept out of the firing line in some of the recent brawls. He was pulled from a few scheduled matches with Rhodes since then. We were told it was more precautionary than serious," Dave Meltzer noted.
