India beat Pakistan convincingly by 124 runs, then stormed into the semi-finals after beating South Africa. As they face Bangladesh in the upcoming high-voltage clash, captain Virat Kohli is not in a mood to take The Tigers lightly.
India face Bangladesh in Edgbaston, exactly the ground where they beat arch-rivals Pakistan in the tournament opener. In an interview, the Indian captain said, "We played in Birmingham before. We like that pitch. It suits our game. "There's no looking back. There's always room for improvement. We can't rest on your laurels.¡±
Praising the performance of Asian teams in the tournament, Kohli said that Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have surprised everyone with their performance.
"Maybe some of the teams have really surprised the opposition with the way they have batted and bowled in certain situations," he said.
If Kohli is not in the mood to take Bangladesh lightly, only God can save them.
