WWE has hinted that the in-ring return of Charlotte Flair is imminent. WWE aired a brief vignette during the January 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, celebrating the legendary career of 'The Queen'.
The 38-year-old daughter of Nature Boy Ric Flair also gave a major update on social media, suggesting that she was ready to return to WWE.
In a video posted on social media on Thursday, The Queen had a message for her haters.
"It's ME vs ME. Always has been, always will be," she wrote.
The video showed Charlotte, sporting a knee brace, running up and down a road.
"Charlotte, she's selfish. She's just Ric Flair's daughter. She's going to come back washed. She's not even that good. Oh, she's been handed everything. You're going to prove them wrong. Ashley, get out of your f**king head," she said in the video.
The second-generation wrestler, who has been with WWE since 2012, was last seen in action on an episode of "WWE SmackDown" in December 2023.
Charlotte, who has a total of 17 championship wins to her name, making her the most decorated women's champion in history, has been out of action since tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a singles match against Asuka.
Her road to recovery took longer than expected, and in the past few months, the Grand Slam Champion has been hinting that she is ready to return.
While there is no official word on when and how Charlotte will be back in WWE, many fans have speculated that she will be brought back in time for WrestleMania and will be in the Women's Championship picture.
