PUBG Mobile is going really strong in India, and frankly it looks like Tencent could do no wrong. The thing is, there may soon be an additional feature in the game, and not everyone will be a fan of it. That's because someone spotted zombies on the edges of a map.
What you see up there is a screenshot from the game showing dead zombies along outskirts of the island military base in the Erangel Map. This follows closely along other signs people had discovered. Some had found puddles of black goo, possibly zombie blood, with footprints running through them, in houses on the same map.
The thing is, after Tencent's PUBG Mobile Star Challenge tournament in Dubai in December, the company announced it would be tying up with RE_Games for their upcoming Resident Evil franchise remake.
There still aren't any official details, but one sure thing would be Resident Evil-themed merchandise in the PUBG Mobile store. Maybe that will mean outfits based on those of the games characters like Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine, or if we're lucky even a zombie getup. And it's possible there might also be a new weapon or two iconic to the series.

Moreso however, there's been one rumours that seems to gain credence with these recent dead zombie sightings. The talk is that PUBG Mobile might actually get a zombie mode, though whether that's a team survival game or just an added obstacle to your chicken dinner is unsure.
It could also be just a temporary event, similar to PUBG's holiday special lootboxes. But if they do actually add a zombie mode, I for one am hoping it's a permanent mode you can enter. The update is expected to hit anytime after January 18, so keep your fingers crossed.
