Apple is yet to release its iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max in its international markets. Even before the upcoming iPhones make their debut, Russian exclusive high-end accessories brand Caviar has come up with limited editions of the devices. Interestingly, these ones take cues from the very first Apple product ever created - the Apple 1.
For those unaware, Apple 1 was the first product built under the Apple brand name. The computer was designed and hand-built by Steve Wozniak, back when the headquarters of Apple Computer Inc was in the garage of Steve Jobs¡¯ parents.
The innovative computer will now make a debut on the new iterations of the iPhones after 43 years of its discontinuation. Getting your hands on one of these, however, will not be everyone¡¯s cup of tea. Why? These special edition iPhones come with a starting price tag of $9,990 (Rs 7,37,000).
Called Caviar iPhone 12 Pro Apple 1, the company says that only 9 units of the unique iPhones will be made. It says that by being the owner of one of these units, ¡°you are becoming the owner of a rare item ¨C a part of the first computer by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Apple 1.¡±
The company has incorporated an element of ¡°the first PC in the world¡± into a wooden case around the iPhones. In addition, these units will sport a glossy ¡°titanium screen¡± in an effort to make them resemble the original design of Apple 1.
Both the iPhone 12 Pro and the iphone 12 Pro Max are available for purchase in the limited edition avatar. Buyers even have the option to choose the memory available on either of these units, from a total of three - 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The prices extend all the way up to $11,150 or Rs 8.22 lakh.
These, however, will only be available once Apple officially releases the next range of iPhones. The Cupertino tech giant is expected to do the same next month. Stay tuned to this space to keep track of the developments on the iPhones.
